YAY!!! 5 weeks has come and gone! Zeus is doing excellent and we are up to two 15 minute walks a day and he has not limped once of favored his leg at all. YAY!! He did excellent with the pet sitter and she said that he did really well, no limping at all and his incision looks excellent! His knee is still swollen and about double the width of his other knee, but other then that it is looking super! There were a few stitches that the vet tech missed but I just took them out myself no problem.
He is getting a bit restless and I can tell sometimes that he wants to play, he'll do his silly butt turn and wag his tail like crazy. But he hasn't tried to jump, run, or do anything silly like that so I'm very thankful!
It was really hard the other day because we went out to Canmore to the dog park with Zeus' big brother Cheech and had to leave Zeus at home :( It just wasn't the same without him and he was so sad looking when we left :(
Only 3 more weeks until his first x-rays and I am hoping that the bone is healed! :) Right now we are putting our house up for sale and I'm hoping we'll sell it quickly so that we don't have to post pone Zeus' right knee TPLO. It's such bad timing to sell our house...but we really don't have a choice and we can't show the house with Zeus in it, I'll be taking him with me in the truck during showings. Wish us luck with selling the house quickly!! :)
